Chapter Introduction

٢٤٩- باب النهي عن الإيذاء

Translation: Allah said:

الْقُرْآنُ الْكَرِيمُسُورَةُ الأَحۡزَابِ (33:58)

وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ بِغَيْرِ مَا اكْتَسَبُوا فَقَدِ احْتَمَلُوا بُهْتَانًا

( سُورَةُ الأَحۡزَابِ (33:58) )

Translation: " And those who harm (annoy) the believing men and women undeservedly, they bear (on themselves) the crime of slander and plain sin ** S: 33-58.

Translation: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

٨٦٣- حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيٌّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ حَدَّثَنَا بُرَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ : سُئِلَ رَسُوَلَاللَّهِ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيٌُُّّّ الْمُسْلِمِينَ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ مِنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانه ويده وَيَدِهِ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ مِنْ حَدِيث أَبي مُوسَى

Translation: 863. Narrated Abu-Musa; ' The Messenger of Allah was asked; " Which Muslim is the best? ' He said: " He from whose hands and toungue the Muslims are safe. " (At-Termizi).
