Chapter 227: About Mentioning Allah standing, sitting, and reclining

Chapter Introduction

۲۲۷ باب ذكر اللَّهُ ) . قائما وقاعدا ومضطجعا

Translation: Allah said:

الْقُرْآنُ الْكَرِيمُسُورَةُ آلِ عِمۡرَانَ (3:190)
إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ لَآيَاتٍ لِّأُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي
( سُورَةُ آلِ عِمۡرَانَ (3:190) )
الْقُرْآنُ الْكَرِيمُسُورَةُ آلِ عِمۡرَانَ (3:191)
خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَٰذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
( سُورَةُ آلِ عِمۡرَانَ (3:191) )

Translation: " Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding. * Those who remember Allah (always, and in prayers) standing, sitting, and lying on their sides, and think deeply about the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying): " Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire. " * " (3: 190-191)

Translation: The Messenger of Allah said as:

Hadith 779: Hadith 779

۷۷۹- عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهَا قَالَ :تْ : كَانَ رَسُوَلَاللَّهُ ) . صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَذْكُرُ الله عَلَى كُلّ أحيانه رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ ، وَعَلَّقَهُ البُخَارِيَ

Translation: 779. Narrated by A'isha (may Allah be pleased with her): " Allah's Messenger used to mention Allah's Name (praise. be to Him) at all times. ' (Reported by Muslim and Bukhari recorded it as Mu'allaq (suspended).)

Hadith 780: Hadith 780

۷۸۰- عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاس رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيََََُُِِّّّّّّّّ : ( أَمَا لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَهُمْ يَقُولُ حِينَ يَأْتِي أَهْلَهُ بِاسْمِ اللهِ ، اللّهُم جَنَّبْنِي الشَّيْطَانَ وَجَنَّبِ الشَّيْطَانَ ما رَزَقْتَنَا ، ثُمَََّّّ قُدْرَ بَيْنَهُمَا في ذلكَ ، أَوْ قُضِيَ بَيْنَهُما وَلَدٌ ، لَمْ يَصْرَهُ شَيْطَانٌ أَبَدًا ) . رواه البخاري

Translation: 780. Narrated Ibn Abbas: ' The Prophet said: " If anyone of you, when having sexual intercourse with his wife, says: ' Bismillah, Allahumma jannibni Shaitân, wa jannib Shaitan ma razaqtanâ (In the Name of Allah, keep Satan away from us and keep Satan away from what You have blessed us with), ' and if it is destined that they should have a child, then Satan will never be able to harm him. " (رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُ : 940.Bukhari)
