Chapter 314: About the Forbiddance of Raising
Hadith 1006: Hadith 1006
١٠٠٦ عَنْ أَنَّسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ ) . عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيََََُُِِّّّّّّّّ : ( مَا بَالُ أَقْوَامٍ ، يَرْفَعُونَ أَبْصَارَهُمْ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فِي صَلَاتِهِمْ ) . فَاسْتَدْ قَولُهُ فِي ذَلِكَ ، حَتَّى قَالَ : ( لَيَنْتَهُنَّ عَنْ ذَلِكَ ، أَوْ لَتُخْطَفَنَ أَبْصَارُهُمْ ) . رواه البخاري
Translation: 1006. Narrated Anas ibn Malek; ' The Prophet said: " What is wrong with those people who look towards the sky during the prayer? His talk grew stern while delivering this speech and he said: “ They should stop (looking towards the sky during the prayer otherwise their eyes would be snatched away. " (Bukhari).
