Chapter 190: About Urging the Muslims to Perform Witr Prayer Regularly
Hadith 600: Hadith 600
٦٠٠ - عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِب قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُوَلَاللَّهِ : أَوْتَرُوا يَا أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ فَإِنَََََّّّّّْ اللَّهَ وَتَرْ ، يُحِبُّ الوِتْرَ رَوَاهُ الخَمْسَةُ ، وَصَحْحَهُ ابْنُ خُزَيْمَة
Translation: 600. Narrated Ali ibn Abu-Taleb: ' Allah's Messenger said: " O people of the Koran! Offer Witr prayer for Allah is Witr (An Odd Number, i.e. One) and loves Witr. " (Al-Khamsa) Ibn Khozayma graded it Saheeh (sound).
Hadith 601: Hadith 601
٦٠١ عَن عائشة رَضِيَ اللَّهِ عَنْهَا قَالَ :تْ : كُلِّ اللَّيْلِ أَوْتَرَ رَسُوَلَاللَّهُ ، وَانتَهَى وَتْرُهُ إِلَى السَّحَرِ . رواه البخاري
Translation: 601. Narrated A'isha, may Allah be pleased with her: ' Allah's Messenger offered Witr prayer at different times of night. His last practice was to perform it until the pre-dawn time. ' (Bukhari)
Hadith 602: Hadith 602
٦٠٢ - عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ ) . عَنْهُمَا قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيََََُُِِّّّّّّّّ : ( اجْعَلُوا آخرَ صَلَاتِكُمْ بِاللَّيْلِ وترا ) . رواه البخاري
Translation: 602. Narrated Abdullah ibn Omar: The Prophet said: “ Let the last prayer by night of yours be Witr (an odd-numbered prayer). " (Bukhari)
Hadith 603: Hadith 603
٦٠٣- عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُوَلَاللَّهُ ) . : مَنْ خَافَ أَنْ لَا يَقُومَ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ فَلْيُوتِرْ أَوَّلَهُ ، وَمَنْ طَمِعَ أَن يَقُومَ آخِرَهُ فَلْيُوتِرُ آخِرَ اللَّيْلِ ، فَإِنَََََّّّّّْ صَلَاةَ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ مَشْهُودَةٌ ، وَذَلِكَ أَفْضَلُ رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
Translation: 603. Narrated Jaber Allah's Messenger said: " If anyone of you is afraid that he may not get up in the last part of night, he should offer Witr in the first part of it; and if anyone is eager to get up in the last part of night, he should offer Witr at the last part of night, for the prayer in the last part of night is witnessed (by the angels) and that is preferable. " (Muslim)

٦٠٤- حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مِنْيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةً حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهُ ) . عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنََّّ النَّبِيََََُُُِّّّّّّّّ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ بَادِرُوا الصُّبْحَ بِالْوِتْرِ قَالَ أَبو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
Translation: 604. Narrated Ibn Omar: The Prophet said: “ Perform Al Witr Prayer before the fajr prayer becomes due. " " "
