Chapter Introduction

Translation: Allah said:

Translation: " Recite (O Muhammad!) what has been revealed to you of the Book (the Koran), and perform the prayer. Verily, the prayer prevents one from committing great sins of every kind and from unjust doings. And the remembering (praising) of (you by) Allah (in front of the angels) is greater indeed (than your remembering (praising) of Allah in prayers. And Allah knows what you do. * " ((29 29:45: 45))

Translation: 551. Narrated Ibn Mas'oud; ' A man kissed a woman (unlawfully) and then went to the Prophet and informed him. So Allah revealed: " And perform the prayer at the two ends of the day and in some hours of the night (i.e. the five compulsory prayers.) Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds (the misdeeds). That is a reminder (an advice) for the mindful (those who accept advice).
