Chapter 38: About Advising One's Family Member to obey Allah

Translation: “ And order your family to perform the prayer punctually and be patient in offering them (the prayers). We do not ask of you a provision (i.e. to give Us anything), We provide for you. And the good end (i.e. Paradise) is for the pious and the righteous persons. * " (20: 132) And

Translation: " O you who believe! Ward off from yourselves and your families the Fire whose fuel is men and stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who disobey not (from executing) the commands they receive from Allah, but do what they are commanded. * " (66: 6)

Translation: 173. Narrated Omar ibn Abu-Salama: ' Allah's Messenger said to me: " Boy! Mention Allah's Name, eat with your right hand, and eat from what is next to you. " (Agreed upon).

Translation: 174. Narrated Ibn Omar: ' I heard Allah's Messenger saying: “ All of you are guardians and responsible for your wards and the things under your care. The imam (i.e. ruler) is the guardian of his subjects and is responsible for them. A man is the guardian of his family and is responsible for them. A woman is the guardian of her husband's house and is responsible for it. A servant is the guardian of his master's belongings and is responsible for them. " I thought that Ibn Omar said: ' I think the Prophet also said: " A man is the guardian of his father's property and is responsible for it. All of you are guardians and responsible for your wards and the things under your care. " (Bukhari)
