Chapter 30: About Interceding for Others

Chapter Introduction

ـ باب في الشفاعة
الْقُرْآنُ الْكَرِيمُسُورَةُ النِّسَاءِ (4:85)
مَّن يَشْفَعْ شَفَاعَةً حَسَنَةً يَكُن لَّهُ نَصِيبٌ مِّنْهَا ۖ وَمَن يَشْفَعْ شَفَاعَةً سَيِّئَةً يَكُن لَّهُ
( سُورَةُ النِّسَاءِ (4:85) )

Translation: Allah said:

Translation: " Whosoever intercedes for a good cause will have the reward thereof, and whosoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a share in its burden. And Allah is All-Witness to) everything. * " (4: 85)

Hadith 152: Hadith 152

١٥٢ - حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا أبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ بُرَيْد بْن عَبْد اللَّهِ بن أبي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَبِي بُرْدَةً عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ عَنِ النَّبِيََََُُِِّّّّّّّّ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ اشْفَعُوا وَلْتُوْجَرُوا وَلْيَقْضِ اللَّهُ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيٌِّّهِ مَا شَاءَ قَالَ أَبو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَبُرَيْدٌ يُكْنَى أَبَا بُرْدَةَ أَيٌُّّضا هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِيِّ وَهُوَ كُوفِيٌّ ثِقَةٌ فِي الْحَدِيثِ رَوَى عَنْهُ شُعْبَةُ وَالثَّوْرِيُّ وَابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ *

Translation: 152. Narrated Abu-Musa Al-Asha'ari: ' The Prophet ﷺ said: “ Intercede that you would be rewarded and Allah decrees whatever He wills on His Prophet's tongue. "

You have released me. By Allah, the freed slaves would rule over the Arabs that the preachers pray unto Allah for them on the pulpits. ' Al-Zohri said: ' O commander of the faithful! It is the religion of Allah that raises those who guard it and lower those who abandon it. " " "
