Chapter 336: About the Forbiddance of Using the goldand silver Utensils
Hadith 1042: Hadith 1042
١٠٤٢ - عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيََََُُِِّّّّّّّّ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرَضِيَ اللَّهِ عَنْهَا ، أَنََّّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : : الَّذِي يَشْرَبُ فِي آنِيَة الفِضَّةِ إِنَََََّّّّّْمَا يُجَرْجِرُ في بَطْنِهِ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ رواه البخاري
Translation: 1042. Narrated Umm Salama, the wife of the Prophet; " Allah's Messenger said: " He who drinks in silver vessels is only filling his abdomen with Hellfire. " (Bukhari).
Hadith 1043: Hadith 1043
١٠٤٣- عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ اليَمَانِ رَضِيَ اللهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُمَا قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُوَلَالله : لا تَشْرَبُوا فِي آنِيَةِ الذَّهَبِ وَالٍفِضَةِ وَلاَ تَأْكُلُوا فِي صِحَافِهَا ، فَإِنَََََّّّّّْهَا لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَلَكُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ " مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ
Translation: 1043. Narrated Hozayfa ibn Al Yaman may Allah be pleased with them; ' Allah's Messenger said: " Do not drink in silver or gold vessels, and do not eat in plates of these two metals, for such things are for them (the disbelievers) in this worldly life and for you in the Hereafter. " (Agreed upon).
Hadith 1044: Hadith 1044
١٠٤٤ - عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ ) . عَنْهُ قَالَ : : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيََََُُِّّّّّّّ يَقُولُ : ( لَا تَلْبَسُوا الحرير ولَا الديباج ، وَلَا تَشْرَبُوا فِي آنِيَة الذَّهَبِ وَالٍفِضَةِ ، وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا في صحَافِهَا ، فَإِنَََََّّّّّْهَا لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَلَنا في الآخِرَةِ ) . رواه البخاري
Translation: 1044. Narrated Hozayfa %; ' I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying: " Do not wear thin or thick silky cloths and do not drink in silver or gold vessels, and do not eat in plates of such metals, for such things are for the disbelievers in this worldly life and for us in the Hereafter. " (Bukhari).
