Chapter 161: About the Invocation One should make if he Descends into a Fearful Place

Translation: 506. Narrated Khawla bint Hakeem Al-Salmiyyah: ' The Messenger of Allah said: “ He that descends into a place and says: " I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created, " no harm will befall him until he departs from that place. " (At-Termizi)

Translation: 507. Narrated Abdullah ibn Omar: Whenever the Messenger of Allah traveled and arrived at a place at night, he used to invoke: " O earth! My Lord and your Lord is Allah! I seek refuge with Allah from your evil, the evil of what is in you, the evil of what is created in you, and of the evil of what moves about on you. I seek refuge with Allah from every adder, every scorpion, every dweller in this place, and from the evil of the jinn and their progeny. " (At-Termizi)
