Chapter 138: About the Invocation the One approaching
Hadith 466: Hadith 466
٤٦٦ - عَن عائشة رَضِيَ اللَّهِ عَنْهَا : قَالَ :ت أَصْغَيْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيََََُُِِّّّّّّّّ قَبْلَ أَنَّ يَمُوتُ ، وَهُوَ مُسَندٌ إِلَى ظَهْرَهُ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ : ( اللَّهُمََّّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وألحقني بالرفيق الأعلى ) . رواه البخاري
Translation: 466. Narrated A'isha ' I listened to the Prophet before his death, while he was leaning his back on me and saying: " O Allah! Forgive me, and bestow Your Mercy on me, and let me meet the highest degree in Paradise. " (Bukhari)

٤٦٧ - حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَن ابْنِ الْهَادِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَرْجِس عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنََّّهَا قَالَتْ رَأَيٌُّّتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ بِالْمَوْتِ وَعِندَهُ قَدَحٌ فِيهِ مَاءً وَهُوَ يُدْخِلُ يَدَهُ فِي الْقَدَحِ ثُمَّ يَمْسَحُ وَجْهَهُ بِالْمَاءِ ثُمَّ يَقُوَلَاللَّهَ أَعِنِّي عَلَى غَمَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ أَوْ سَكَرَات الْمَوْتِ قَالَ أبو عيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ *
Translation: 467. Narrated A'isha: ' I saw the Messenger of Allah in his last moments having a vessel of water in front of him. He used to dip his hands in the vessel and say: “ O Allah! Support me to bear the pangs of death. " (At-Termizi)
